Hello, I'm Aimee
My name is Aimee Albright, the gal behind Amazing Aimee. I’m a content creator & travel blogger based out of the beautiful Tampa Bay, Florida. I adore all things sunshine, whether it’s a day at the beach, discovering new places to eat & drink, or roaming around the city to find fresh colorful murals. When I’m not traveling, you can find me hitting the streets of Tampa & St. Petersburg, exploring new gems in the area – as there are always new attractions, restaurants, etc. popping up. There is so much to do in Tampa Bay all of the time, and that’s what I love the most!
My passion for travel began many years back. My first time on an airplane was ironically my first time out of the country, the summer between my 10th & 11th grade year of high school. I went to Mexico for my best friend’s sisters wedding. The trip was amazing, but I think I was too young to have a true understanding & appreciation for travel & culture. It wasn’t until my junior & senior year of college when I went to Europe for 2 years in a row for spring break, visiting & studying in Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Madrid, Toledo, Lisbon, Cascais, & Sintra [Italy, Spain, & Portugal]. Immediately after graduating college & moving to Florida, I visited Cuba… & it was at that trip that I knew travel would permanently be in my soul.

For me, there is just something about seeing a place for the first time. Looking out the window, stepping off the plane, walking out the airport, to see somewhere new. I absolutely love experiencing breathtaking destinations, meeting beautiful new people, appreciating different cultures, & most of all, making memories that will last forever. My goal is to see the world and share it through my lens, one video & photo at a time. I am so happy you are here to join me on the journey. Whether it's in my backyard or across the globe, I love to create & inspire.
I recently was able to take my passions & talents of creating full time, in an entrepreneurial journey. From a small town Pennsylvania girl to Florida living
How did I end up in Florida? After graduating college at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Digital Media Production, I decided it was time to start my new career somewhere. But was I going to start it in my hometown? Or maybe the nearest major city, Pittsburgh? It was then when I figured if I’m going to start new, I might as well start by planting my roots somewhere I had always dreamed of.
Two summers prior to my college graduation, I had spent a few weeks vacationing with one of my college roommates, Emily, & her family in Apollo Beach, Florida. Her family moved to Apollo Beach when Emily went to college. When I was visiting, Emily’s parents told me that the Tampa Bay Area was very up and coming and that if I fell in love, and wanted to move down to the area after graduating, they’d help me get on my feet.
Flash forward two years, and there I was, diploma in hand ready to begin fresh. I nervously gave Emily’s parents a call, mind you this was weeks after hurricane Irma had just struck the area, and I asked if their offer from two years prior still stood. They welcomed me in with open arms, and that following weekend, I drove to my hometown-home (I was currently couch-surfing in my college town) and packed everything I owned which was nothing more than two TVs, a closet full of clothes in vacuum sealed bags, and some kitchen supplies into my little two door Pontiac G5. The next day, Saturday September 30th 2017, I left my Patton, Pennsylvania home and drove 16+ hours straight to Apollo Beach, Florida where I reached my new home a little after midnight on October 1st.
I owe my success & Florida well being to Emily’s parents who took me in and treated my like one of their own, quite literally. Days after arriving, I landed a job at a restaurant on Beach Drive in Downtown St. Petersburg. One month later I landed another job in my career field, and one month after that, I was able to move into my own apartment in St. Petersburg… Since then, I’ve changed apartments with a beautiful Downtown location, left my 9-5 job, & started my own real estate media company.
Moving to Florida is truly where my story begins… Each day, I write another page.
