Instagramable Hotel in Savannah Georgia | TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District

I recently stayed at the TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District, & let me just start off by saying how adorable it is inside. If you’re looking for an AFFORDABLE instagramable hotel within walking distance to most downtown Savannah attractions, you’ve found the one!

The TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District’s aesthetic is immaculate… especially in the lobby. The style of the entire hotel is very glamorous & chic. From upholstered furniture, to pops of purple, this hotel is an IG feed’s dream.

Watch my guided hotel tour video here.

The next best thing aside from its gleaming style, is its great location. It’s located on Montgomery Street, close to Forsyth Park & walkable to nearly everything you’ll want to see in Savannah, Georgia. We walked everywhere our entire visit, including the SCAD Museum of Art, plenty of Savannah Historic District shops, restaurants & bars, and the Plant Riverside District. (If you’re looking for some recommendations or things to do in the area, I also got you covered!)

I felt safe at the hotel as well as walking to & from during the day & night.

Let’s talk about parking! The hotel does offer valet parking for roughly $25-$30 a day/night. There is also a parking garage across the street (like DIRECTLY across the street) from the hotel, owned by the city, which was a lot cheaper than valeting at the hotel. We left our car at the city parking garage across the street ALL weekend (without moving it) & the cost was less than half the price we would have payed with valet. Of course, it all comes down to personal preference, but parking in the garage would be my personal recommendation.

Now for the room: We stayed in a standard double queen room. It was comfortable & spacious. It was pretty average as far as a hotel room goes. Of course it came will all the necessities: TV, lamps, plenty of outlets, ice bucket, keurig machine, coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, lotion… The look & feel of the room was super cute, nice swirly accent wall, cool headboards, pretty purple chair, I loved it all. With that being said, the rooms are not super soundproof, I guess they nearly never are, but I could hear our neighbor letting their door slam every time they came in & out of their room.

When it comes to amenities, this hotel is great. There is a gym in the hotel – not huge but had everything that you’d need. There is also a restaurant & a bar in the lobby called “Kitchen 320”, serving American small plates & craft cocktails. The hotel supplied free coffee in the lobby every morning. Another cool aspect that I enjoyed & appreciated was “The Pantry.” A little shop in the lobby that sold snacks, beverages, & miscellaneous items that could be easily forgotten for your visit. You are able to charge the stuff you get there directly to your room.

Overall, I had a great stay at TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District & a very fun time in Savannah, Georgia. It’s a beautiful historic city, & this hotel definitely adds to the aesthetic & Instagramable charm. I’d be lying if I said thats NOT why I booked it… LOL
