Stylish and Serene: A Stay at Hotel Rose Bourbon in Paris

Paris has a way of slowing down time, whether you’re savoring a hot chocolate at a sidewalk café or exploring the elegant architecture that lines its streets. Nestled on a quiet, residential street in the 15th arrondissement is Hotel Rose Bourbon, a boutique gem that perfectly captures the city’s charm.

I chose this hotel for its appealing design-forward style, both online and in person. From the moment I entered, I was enchanted by its quiet allure and thoughtful details. The space feels elegant yet approachable, adorned with muted tones, marble accents, and touches of velvet that blend Art Deco with modern flair seamlessly.

The hotel, with its intimate size of only 39 rooms, creates a sense of exclusivity and tranquility. The hallways are serene, and encounters with other guests are rare, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere. A central staircase adds a touch of old-world Parisian charm, though there’s also a small, quaint elevator available.

The lobby is cozy and tastefully decorated with gold accents and stylish furnishings, creating a truly beautiful ambiance.

Our room reflected the hotel’s boutique style with its unique layout and classic-modern decor. It was cute and clean, much like the rest of the hotel. Rooms range from singles to deluxe with terrace views. Each room at Rose Bourbon is a little different in layout and decor, and the style felt both fresh and classic at the same time. Ours provided all essentials: a comfy bed, TV, AC, windows that fully open, and a well-stocked minibar (though refreshments were priced at a premium).

Located away from the bustling tourist spots like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, Hotel Rose Bourbon offers a quieter, local experience. The neighborhood feels safe and residential, ideal if you prefer a more authentic Parisian ambiance. Getting around was convenient with Uber, providing easy access to the city’s attractions. The hotel is also located just a 3-min walk to Félix Faure Metro (Line 8) and 6 mins to Charles Michel Metro (Line 10).

Downstairs, the hotel offers a continental breakfast in a charming reception-lounge area. Though I didn’t have the chance to sample it, the setting was delightful, perfect for starting the day with fresh pastries and coffee.

Overall, Hotel Rose Bourbon provided a delightful escape into Parisian tranquility. For those seeking a stylish and serene stay with boutique charm, this hotel is an excellent choice, particularly if you prefer a quieter retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. I would gladly return for another relaxed Parisian getaway.
