I recently stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago and absolutely loved it! The Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago is a cute, chic boutique hotel in Downtown Chicago.

The best part about the hotel is its convenient location. It is located right on the Riverwalk and is walkable to Downtown Chicago’s famous sights.

Its central location amongst all the tall buildings also makes for a stunning view. I was in room 1412, which is located on the 14th floor, a River View King Deluxe Room. From the yellow headboard on the bed, to the stylish lamps, and the glowing bathroom, the room was beautiful! My favorite part of the room was the window seat that over looked the city. We had a great view of the water and Trump Tower. I still haven’t decided whether I enjoyed the colorful view during the day or the gleaming view of city lights at night more.

The decor of the entire hotel is warm, cozy, esthetic, and elegant. The lobby is a cool place to hang out. It is stunning with high ceilings, much detail, and unique art. The fireplace made me feel at home.

Everything was extremely clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They have drinks, snacks, and adult beverages available for purchase behind the check-in counter.

This was my second stay at a Kimpton Monaco Hotel (the first was in Pittsburgh in December 2020), and they have both been incredibly adorable and well managed.

I’ll definitely be recommending Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago to all my family and friends visiting Chi-Town. I can’t wait to visit again!
