London, a city where iconic red buses weave through streets lined with historic landmarks, and the shimmering Thames River reflects the vibrant energy of its bustling neighborhoods. Located in Aldgate, in the heart of this dynamic metropolis, is Hotel Saint London; the perfect home away from home.
Imagine endless natural light and stunning views from every corner. That is what I had the pleasure of experiencing during my stay at Hotel Saint London. Tucked away in a corner on the 9th floor, I stayed in a Deluxe, Botolph City View King room. The room was beautiful, clean, and chic. With striking floor-to-ceiling windows, the view quickly became the main character. I loved that the room offered double-aspect views of the City of London’s iconic skyline and the historic church of St. Botolph Without Aldgate.
Beyond the mesmerizing panorama, the room was quaint, contemporary, and exceptionally comfortable. Equipped with all the essential amenities—free Wi-Fi, working desk, docking station, 42-inch LCD TV, in-room safe, alarm clock, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron, and complimentary water—the room had everything I needed throughout my stay. I also appreciated the additional luxuries provided, such as bathrobes, slippers, and an espresso machine.
The aspect I enjoyed most about Hotel Saint London, however, was its prime location, which made exploring the city a breeze. Not only is the hotel within walking distance of many attractions and landmarks like Sky Garden and the Tower of London, but the Aldgate Underground Station is conveniently located right next door. This made it incredibly easy for me to step out of the hotel, scan my ApplePay, hop on the Circle Line, and visit anywhere I wanted in London.
Another highlight of staying at Hotel Saint London is the effortless access to food and beverages. Perched on the 14th floor of the hotel is Jin Bo Law, the hotel’s sky bar. This rooftop lounge is a must-visit, featuring curated craft cocktails that are truly delightful. The interior of the bar, much like the rest of the hotel, is chic and stunning. The outdoor terrace offers breathtaking views of London’s iconic skyline, including landmarks like Tower Bridge, The Shard, The Gherkin, and beyond.
While the hotel’s rooftop bar, Jin Bo Law, does not serve food, a spectacular culinary experience awaits on the ground floor of Hotel Saint London; The Cardinal Bar & Kitchen. With exceptional happy hour specials such as 2-for-1 cocktails and burger + beer deals, the restaurant is not only spacious and exquisite but also serves mouthwatering food and cocktails. It proved to be the perfect spot for a delicious meal before setting out on a day’s adventure in London.
With its ideal location in Aldgate, at the crossroads of some of the city’s most vibrant and historic neighborhoods, Hotel Saint London was the perfect base for my London holiday. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The stylish and modern interiors, combined with the marvelous views, created a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The two exceptional on-site dining options made my stay both practical and enjoyable. I had a fabulous time at Hotel Saint London and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a remarkable stay in the heart of this vibrant city.
