On Thursday, April 17, 2025, I had the pleasure of attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Residence Inn Tampa Westshore/Airport. The event marked a significant milestone for the property, which has undergone its first major renovation in over two decades.
Located at 4312 W. Boy Scout Boulevard, just minutes from Tampa International Airport, the hotel now boasts a refreshed look that seamlessly blends comfort with modern design. The spacious suites are equipped with full kitchens, providing a home-away-from-home experience for guests. Some suites even feature cozy fireplaces and multiple rooms, catering to both leisure and business travelers seeking extended stays.
The property’s amenities have also received thoughtful upgrades. Guests can enjoy a complimentary daily breakfast buffet, a beautifully landscaped outdoor pool area, a fire pit, and a putting green, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Tampa’s vibrant Westshore district. The hotel’s proximity to top dining spots, shopping centers, and entertainment venues like Raymond James Stadium makes it an ideal choice for visitors.
