Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Garden

In the Plant Riverside District, at the rooftop of the JW Marriott Hotel is an adorable spot called Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Garden. It’s known for its botanically inspired cocktails, small plates, and breathtaking views of Savannah. The aesthetic is inspired by the flowers used in the crowns by muses in classical mythology, & let me just say that the vibe here is exactly that – it does not disappoint. Myrtle & Rose truly is a rooftop garden with so many beautiful plants & flowers. It is both glamorous & elegant & I absolutely love the style of this majestic place.

Electric Moon Skytop Lounge + Moon Deck

Electric Moon Skytop Lounge + Moon Deck has got to be my favorite! It is also located in the Plant Riverside District on top of the JW Marriott. For starters, it is a grown-up’s paradise! This rooftop hangout has a slide that connects its 2 floors, & it’s for adults. As if the slide isn’t cool enough, they also serve a drink that comes in a flashing lightbulb, one that comes with a light-up ice cube, 2 floors, amazing 360 views of the water & city, great music, spin chairs, lawn games, fireplaces, & so much more. We had their tuna poke tacos & jerk chicken wings, & they were AMAZING! I honestly had such a great experience at Electric Moon, definitely add this rooftop spot to your Savannah itinerary!

The Grove

The Grove is located in the heart of Savannah’s bustling City Market. This place is s fun & trendy! For starters, their drinks are cute & INSTAGRAMABLE. I couldn’t resist, I had to get me some bubbly with a popsicle in it & it was absolutely delicious. The Grove also has multiple levels, all with the same great vibe. But the rooftop was a blast – there was even a DJ & he was playing all the jams. We ordered the sweet heat chicken wings & they were so good. Another Savannah hotspot to add to your travel itinerary!

The Nest Rooftoop lounge

Back to the Plant Riverside District – located at the 6th floor of the Cotton Sail Hotel is The Nest Rooftop Lounge. The vibe at The Nest is immaculate! I love the neon signs & the greenery. They even have games like “Uno” & “Connect Four” that will give you all the nostalgia. They play really great music, the drinks are delicious, and it’s an all around great time. Plus, they just recently opened – I totally recommend visiting!

Rocks On The Roof

Rocks on the Roof is located at the top of The Bohemian Hotel, also in the Plant Riverside District, & offers great cocktails & tapas style plates. I love the water views & cozy atmosphere. We had the chicken basket & it was literal heaven on earth. It has a nice vibe & is a cool spot to stop by during your trip to Savannah.

The Rooftop At Sorry Charlie’s Oyster Bar

The Rooftop at Sorry Charlie’s Oyster Bar sits on top of 2 other floors of restaurant / bars & is a nice casual spot to enjoy the outdoors. Be warned, it gets very windy up there. Its a great place to stop by for a snack. We had the Loaded Crab Fries and they were delicious. A great casual rooftop for your visit!

That’s a wrap for the best rooftop bars in Savannah. I can’t wait to visit the beautiful historic city again & explore some more rooftop hangouts, but for now, CHEERS & enjoy your visit to Savannah!
